KOREY GEWANT
male | thirty seven

"You're a stupid, stupid child, you know that right?" ► The closest thing he has ever had to a parental figure in his life is Korey Gewant. A fugitive run away from the planet of Maxise at the age of twenty one, Korey found shelter hiding and working in the bowls of the industrial planet and keeping his time busy working as a welder for Prelta Industries, the biggest manufacture corporation on the planet. Aðal met him at the age of six when he found himself in trouble with the manager of his department during occupation hours. Korey stated that he was his child and took the brunt of the employers anger and punishment for Aðal's mistake. From that moment, Korey took him into his home and raised him as he was his own son, assuring that he had at least someone to depend on even if in the future he didn't respond well to it. As lighthearted as he can be in an attitude of thick sarcasm, Korey is a driven character that longs for stability and home, something he has tried to build for himself on Varalon. He is someone that people can depend on and knows his place, plays his role and plays it well.

DARIUS CALLARI
male | twenty eight

"I went to my room and packed a change of clothes, got my banjo, and started walking down the road." ► An relaxed individual, Darius is a musician at heart and uses it as a form of escape that everyone can partake in. He's kindhearted if not delightfully stubborn when it comes down to it and because of this often doesn't realize when it's time to shut his mouth. He doesn't take a hint well but while socially he may be a little awkward, he's a creative and rather smart individual and while picky with who he keeps company with he is a friend for life. Aðal met him at the age of five, when Darius was an older teen. Plucking away at the strings of his banjo he took an immediate curiosity to the instrument and it was from Darius that he learned how to play. He became a confidant and an older brother figure ultimately and he later would join up with him to play at venues to bring music to others needed the reprieve. Aðal always has felt like he could never be as good, but for once he doesn't mind.

EMILIE "EMS" RASIMA
female | nineteen

"I never said I didn't like the idea, I just said I hated it." ► Emilie was originally someone that he never got along with and they clashed rather fiercely due to their pretty opposite personalities. They were partnered together at work in their youth and when she was brought into another department they didn't really see of each other until he met her at the races. A good strategist, Emilie provided him with some hands off information about the area which provided a win in his regard. He's never really thanked her for it but once he started to buy her drinks, once they started to party together and get to know each other away from the work place they quickly bonded and became more of a team. While they don't always get along, she always has his back at random times and he makes sure to use his quick fingers to get her some things that she needs here and there. Ems doesn't like being told what to do and she doesn't like being shown up. She's a spitfire of a personality and has little regrets in what she says and what she does. Her actions are her own and she owns up to all of them.

NABIL DRAŠKO
male | nineteen

"I'm going to write a ballad about you when you're dead because you're a moron, yeah? Moron's deserve ballads." ► The son of a predominant criminal mastermind that runs a handful of businesses in a handful of sectors, Nabil is a carefully crafted individual if not a bit on edge about everything around him. Ironically, he hates being apart of his friends more illicit plans and would rather play on the safer side of things. A local celebrity of sorts, he takes extremely well to the underground spot light, even if he is a bit on the serious side. A close friend of Jovan before he met Aðal, Nabil worked with Jovan as his under the table sponsor for the races that take place within are of the Dust Bowl. It was there they both met Aðal and formulated their own circuit with the funding from Nabil's family, eager to get their hands on something else illegal to manage and maintain. Nabil doesn't race himself but he enjoys watching it, the intensity something he can admire from the distance and leaves the racing to Jovan and their wayward friend.

JOVAN MARCELLINO
male | twenty one

"You've got two heads, use one of 'em for fuck's sake." ► Foul mouthed and abrasive, Jovan moved out from the factory and made it big in the racing industry from the age of fifteen. Ambitious to a fault, he would rather manage than race nowadays but that what he has Aðal for. A coach of sorts, he taught him a great deal about the circuits and racing in general, in which he was also the individual who got a hold of Aðal's first speed bike. It was Jovan who inspired Aðal to do what he does best and that's race and race recklessly. While he drives Korey Gewant insane with his mere presence he is a good friend and supportive friend. He is the closet Aðal has to someone akin to himself and enjoys the party, drugs, sex and drink as much as the other. It's a dangerous friendship but they are there for each other, which to Aðal matters most.

SIMONETTA "SIMON" AHUVA
female | sixteen

"Here's to the crazy ones." ► Simonetta, or just "Simon" to her friends is a younger girl that Aðal met in his line of work as a mechanic. She was brought in a year or two after he was and they've worked together ever since, to the point of being a kid sister to him--though sometimes not as much as he would admit since she drives him insane. She is a lean, smart-minded girl and has a mouth to match her quick hands and Aðal admires her for it. Witty and sarcastic to a point she fits in well with the general census of dismissal to the rather horrible situation the majority of her friends live in, including herself. It's a morbid way of living but it's all they have, and she knows this. Simon has an issue listening but that's what makes her exciting. She might be quiet and keeps to herself but because of that she's unsuspecting and it makes her even better when it comes down to getting things she or someone else might need. She's a valuable commodity and while she doesn't know it, everyone puts it up to the fact she's young.

+ CURRENT!PB: jane mcgrath.

SABRI "BRI" ZURU HODEI
male | twenty three

"Don't touch me." ► One of those on again, off again comrades. An older man, Sabri or just "Bri" as Aðal has fondly nicknamed him, is a much more serious character that Aðal enjoys getting a rise out of. He works with him as a partner from time to time in the others occupation as a conman that travels in his own ship and has the unlikely companion of a crow that does nothing but freak the fuck out of Aðal whenever she is around. They are always biting at each other for a rise and have a delightful banner that sometimes lingers on dangerous. Still, he does not mind him as much as he expresses when around him and if anything Aðal knows that he can depend on him in a fight. He's one of the finest pilots known in the galaxy and his ship is his prized possession. He has little tolerance for stupidity and ever littler patience. In flight, Sabri has the reflexes needed to get anyone out of a tight spot and knows the star charts like the back of his hand--if only he wouldn't keep them covered by gloves all the time.

+ CURRENT!PB: saleh bakri.

CAMDEN ZOLTÁN
male | twenty two

"You're a fuck all excuse for a human, but you know that already." ► Someone Aðal can't seem to get rid of. In the circuts of racing he is his biggest threat and he's not only a threat to his successes, he's a threat to his life because things are harsh out in the outer realms, things are not easy and when you have a problem you get rid of it completely. Aðal is aggressive enough for Camden to consider him an amusement more than anything else but there is something sharp and something dangerous about the male who when he says he is going to slit his throat, Aðal believes him. Outside his sphere though, outside his childish nature and view on rivalry in habits and hobbies there is something much worse looming in the horizon that threatens not only all of those around them but his livelihood and his life with the single push of a button. An intense character, Camden enjoys having everything handed to him and knows he is capable of getting anything he wants. Self centered and highly motivated by greed, he works the system of classes on Varalon so he can shift between both worlds without question. He has the connections everyone wants and will do anything to assure his own personal success.

LUCE "THE JUDGE"
male | thirty four

"Deity, damn it." ► A figurehead on the planet of Aosh in the country of Sancia; Luce Blancos, otherwise known as THE JUDGE, is an acquaintance in comparison to the timeline of Aðal's life. Yet, he holds importance due to the fact he is one of his first acquaintances outside of his home planet and he makes a standing due to his blindingly positive belief in his own religion and amusingly struggled attempt to see the mid-tones of life thanks to his companion Abel Ramos. Well aware that Luce likely does not have the best impression, and rather uncaring about it, Aðal met him while traveling in the region of Sanica after his separation from Sabri Hodei who got him on the planet in the first place. While his clothes were similar enough to the culture and explainable, his lack of travelers sash (a blue or green piece of silk worn visible on the person) was not and Luce was quick to remind him of his errors. After fumbling through languages, becoming aggressive at being yelled at in a native tongue and finally settling on the universal language of Kahrea, Aðal learned of his mistake and simply told Luce he had "forgot it". Luce, trying to understand, allowed Aðal leeway if he attended two weeks worth of lessons and sermon in the ways of Sancian then he could gain his sash and move on. Aðal, feeling as if he could still explore the country and slide through the deal knowing it would make it easier to travel agreed and went to live in the houses of the church for those two weeks. During that time, he got to know Luce on a personal basis and what he learned he pitied because while Aðal had been exposed to different religions throughout his life, Luce seemed to think that all that simmered was gold and what shimmed to him most was his religion he was so heavily steeped in. Aðal got to see the darker side of the chuch when he started to open his mouth, something that Luce didn't really seem to think existed when he confronted him about it. Ultimately Aðal didn't stick around much longer after those two weeks despite how Luce may have interested him, and made off and towards the north three days late.

In that, Luce is one of those characters that he can't seem to agree with but feels sorry for because he seems unable to break free of a sort of mental slavery. He can see where there might be something he can learn from him but Aðal is far too stubborn and childish to care. Overall, Luce is a strong if not driven individual and would do anything to help a lost soul see the light.
